Feel Alive

Both Jack & James and Distrion are familiar names to the Revealed Recordings faithful, both acts having previously released music via the Revealed Recordings Community, and now both acts come together for the first time for their debut release on the main Revealed Recordings imprint with ‘ Feel Alive’. Demonstrating the obvious talent that both pairs possess, ‘Feel Alive’ is set to further propel their careers into the stratosphere and cement their places as artists to watch in the near future.

The track is full of interesting elements, 8-bit influences and a warm, delayed stab that pushes the track forward from the start. A stuttering, sidechained lead makes the track stand out and gives it a bounce that is sure to set the dancefloor alight, before making way for an uplifting main breakdown, full of intricate synth work that weaves together expertly, accompanied by the pitched vocal that is heard throughout.

Although both artists are in the infancies of their career, their early releases have been picked up by a host of high-profile artists, collectively including label-head Hardwell, Futuristic Polar Bears, Oliver Heldens and Blasterjaxx, and their first release on the main Revealed Recordings label looks set to be the stepping stone both artists need on their quest to reach the higher-tier of dance music.
